Still trying to find a miniature float valve in Australia to control the loss of water in the aquarium due to evaporation
Valve float is fitted in the sink filter and when the water level drops the valve opens and water flows from a storage container. Answers I've had have been in America and the valves are not available. Normally this would be no problem, but if the holiday would fall below input level of the pump for 3 days lost 1lt
How much water you are losing on average? Normal evaporation is generally not a problem if you are doing weekly water changes etc.. I've never heard of doing things this way, I have a few tanks and none of them release water While it can not continue with weekly water changes and occasional top-ups.
