Tropical fish and aquarium maintenance
Tropical fish includes fish around the world living in tropical environments such as saltwater and freshwater species sweet. They are popular fish in aquariums because of their bright colors. Tropical also refers to tropical climate where the weather is hot or humid all year integrated by abundant vegetation.
Aquarius is a closed container clearly on the side of high strength plastic or constructed glass for keeping or breeding of animals and plants for research and observation. The ecosystem of the species that is copied on a smaller scale control of environmental factors.
Tropical fish for putting in the aquarium should be properly served by regular monitoring of fish and aquarium conditions by testing the waters for bacteria, parasites and fungi occurrences. There are many ways of how to determine if the tropical fish are sick.
Fish Inspection scales. Examine for any discoloration, tumors or wounds. Scales that is missing is an indication of the struggle.
Observing fish-breath. Slower or faster than normal is a sign of problem.
"Fish eyes clarity control. Blood or cloudiness should not be present.
"The observation of abnormal behavior of fish like pattern swimming or unusual slowness.
-Veterinarian consultation for any fish abnormalities observed.
Aquarium serves as the new habitat for tropical fish therefore should be reviewed periodically. The procedures are easy to protect fish and plants lives.
Regular monitoring of the tank to ensure that dead or dying fish is not present.
-Observation of all fish individually for the behavior patterns of familiarity to be easier to determine a sick fish in the future.
-Feed your fish at intervals of a day with variations of the diet.
-Replace the water evaporated in the tank with dechlorinated water.
"Once a week, removed 5 to 10 per cent of the tank water replacing it fresh dechlorinated water. Chemicals not desired in the tank will help dilute the tanks internal environment similar to tap water.
Scrape algae from the walls of the tank done once a week.
Check-filter pads every two weeks cleaning or replacement if necessary.
-Analysis of water every two weeks ago. Water exchange is made after one day.
Ammonia, nitrate, pH levels or nitrite to control every two weeks.
-Drain the remains of gravel done once a month.
Always keep track the chemical content of your aquarium and the maintenance schedule.
