Are there fish freshwater aquarium purely magazines?
I get a monthly subscription for a magazine but I do not like fish items salt water, is there a magazine that you or someone you know and do not have items like salt water aquarium?
I do not know of any aquarium magazines general are purely freshwater. The large monthly magazines in the U.S. are fond of tropical fish, freshwater and Marine Aquarium, and Aquarium Fish magazine. The last two owned by the same company, but have different items. All three of these have a mix of saltwater and freshwater subjects in each issue. The journals that are only fresh water are, to my knowledge, specialized magazines, such as cichlids and Buntbarsche News Bulletin (both of which are about cichlids). The specialist in each of the amateur clubs to publish a magazine (many of them quarterly or six times a year) focused their areas of interest. Some of these, to my knowledge are American cichlids, the American Association livebearer, the International Betta Congress, the American Killifish Association, the Aquatic Gardeners Association North American Native Fish Associaton, and the International Association Guppy class. There are others too. Most local aquarium and regional clubs also put out some form of publication, and have web sites.
