Eclipse 12 Gallon Aquarium (Marineland)?
I have this tank and http://petco.com/product/13810/Marineland-Eclipse-System-12-Aquarium-Kit.aspx I was thinking of upgrading to a bigger tank than 20 gallons maybe …….. Has anyone ever had this tank? My hood is compatible with any other tanks??? or I'll have to buy a whole new creation? If I buy a new set up I'm thinking of having two operating tanks, and starting an all black and white skirt skirt tetra tank. How many gallons fit in 12 … What about 20 gallons? I dont really care one inch of fish per gallon rule does anyone actually have experience Black Skirt and the burden they put on a filter? Thanks for your help! I hope to be out of confusion!
hey i have a 6 gallon eclipse system, its same style, but half the size but its really good tank and the filter works very welll. in my 20 gallon, I blackskirts, and are fairly resistant fish, I have probably one of the greatest female ever to be seen blackskirts haha, but anyway I think if you go strictly blackskirt / whiteskirt tetras, for 20 gallons i would like black-white 6.6, which may seem good, and in 12, I would do 3 and three, maybe 4 and 4, and I would put some bottom feeders like a small bank of Corys. anyway good luck with it, the eclipse of the systems are pretty good, but its unique shape makes your pieces do not quite universal, which goes with everything that the tank is not very likely to fish more. good luck
