For the price is not a bad skimmer, but it's noisy, like most of the Prizm skimmers are. Per gallon to 40, think it would be quite sufficient. I personally Octopus recommend the brand, I feel like that give the greatest value for money. I've seen a few in stock, and preforms very well. There are, of course, the best marks for there, but they are 2 and 3 times the price.
