wat do they do and wats the difference?
i hav a check valve and an aquarium air control thingy tat for my pump. wat makes the valve aquarium and do wats the difference between the TAT and the TAT controls the air thingy? if u dont know wat the "little thing" Im talkin about, just tell me Wat is a valve Wat aquarium and makes … "fishy! grrr =))"
If I understand correctly that you are mentioning the valve that takes into the tube leading to your aquarium, right? If so, the valve is a "return" of the valve that prevents the back flow of water into the pump air … b / c water + electricity = bad. Apparently, the risk is higher if the power goes off, then the water makes it's way up the tube (b / c no longer air is pushing it out), then the power comes back and having water in the pump. I do not know if the risk is only in the breakdown of the pump, or if it could fly a circuit in your house. If you have your air pump is above the level of the tank (like on a shelf, you will not have to worry about reflux). Hope this helps.
