What other fish can be kept with a male betta in a tank of 10 liters?
My beautiful 3-gallon pots keep breaking when I clean them well I'm getting an aquarium, because I always feel for bettas in small bowls. But as I am doing the investment, what else can I put there?
Viva bettas in tanks: D Anyway, you can go to a school of tetras, livebearers or a few, as their tank mates for bettas. Either of small tetras will – this includes neons, cardinals, lemons, glowlights – as wel as harlequin or danios Rasboras. Get a school of 7-8 of one type (such as different types will not school together). Or you get some Plati. No guppies – the long tail may mislead into thinking betta's another man. You could get 1 male, 3 female platia. If you have plants, you could get a small school of cats OTO (zucchini and also feed pellets spirulina). Snails and African dwarf frogs are also good tankmates for bettas. You could, for example, have the betta, 2 ADFS, and a mystery snail, and 4-5 tetras.
