Upgrading to an aquarium of 29 or 55 gallons?

Allways Bigger is better. You can always keep a few small fish in a large tank, but not vice versa. If you have a filter to correct size that does not need extra airstones. The filter willpower circulate enough water to provide oxygen exchange for a reasonable number of fish. You can put in bubble wands airstones or if you want, do no harm, and to give the movement a little more water. but unless the tank is the crowded you do not need.
