How often do I add salt to the aquarium of 55 gallons. Ciahlid tank.?
I am 9 and I heard cichlid aquarium salt is the way forward to keep them healthy. I have some salt Forest Aquarium, but cannot find anywhere how often to use it.
only when a water change say they just changed 10 gallons of water (approximately 20%) may add 2 tablespoons salt to the water again, let the mixture, then add water the tank .. add salt every day increases the salinity eventually, to the point of killing fish DO NOT ADD SALT without removing the water before salinization
