5 gallon aquarium?
Does anyone know of a large pet store-nation preferably an online store where I can order a 5 gallon aquarium without the full kit. What I mean is more than the tank, all the extras. I hope to keep the price below $ 15. $ 20 maximum. I can be of acrylic or glass. TNX!
Where I work, we have them for about $ 9. This is actually a bit higher than the price of a gallon in October. But what we charge for Manufacturer charges and five years are slightly more expensive than the 10s. Probably because 10 is a most common size – not much can be maintained in a 5. If you have any PetStore around you, I recommend you check with them. Even if you do not have in stock, the manager must be able to special order for you. If you receive one online, you will cost almost as much as the tank (or more) for shipping. If you order through your pet shop that is absorbing the cost of shipping. If you do not mind used, you might want to look at http://www.freecycle.org/ – this is like an online "classified" by the city or region. Everything is FREE! If you still want to buy On-line (and new) try this site. They are not a chain, but e-business and have an incredible amount of aquarium supplies in stock: http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/index.web – Look on the left side – the glass is "specialty items." Acrylic is only available as a kit.
