What I can put turtles in an aquarium of 30 gallons?
I want to make a 30 gallon aquarium to put in long turtles from my 10 gallons is too small. What kind of turtles I can put into it, how many and any other advice would be great because I am very new to all this. I'm looking for land or Terrapins
Note that the general rule for all aquatic turtles is 10 gallons of water per inch of carapace (upper shell) long, and there's really nothing out there that feels comfortable in a 30 gallon for his life. In terrestrial species, keeping one in a 30 gallon would like having a dog in a cage for his life. Please reduce what you are seeking and research is necessary before deciding what to keep in.
