How do I know what Im Tempertaure put my tank with a submersible heater 25W Elite?

theres no numbers on the thing at the U top of stove for heat? please help i dont want my fish to freeze or boil! It is a 5 gal home guppie fry until they hatch.

Exactly Like the others said, get a thermometer. This not only say what the temperature of your heater is operating at … will tell you when it stops working, what just happened to me last week. Do not rely on numbers (if any) in the heater. Fish are not too thrilled with the drastic temperature (or anything else, in this case) changes. You do not boil or freeze, as it will be fairly slow transition, but I can assure you I will be happy if the temperature is out of 4 or 5 degrees of what we are accustomed.
