Lighting question planted aquarium?
Hello. Aqua experts. I have a 20 gallon fish tank high and I wonder which of these 2 options is more ideal for plant growth. 1x Color 15-watt maximum 18 inches aquarium fluorescent lamp bulbs 2x of these compact look here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260346149353
I really just jumped into the world of the real plant of myself this weekend. The store that I was out of the plant specific bulbs, but I sold the next one. He said that while close to "the brand 5000K would be fine. I went with a zoom Tropic Sun 5500K. Its only a difference of 10% for that should not hurt too bad, but recommended that I upgrade soon as you notice a difference in growth. Hope this helps ……
