Is it safe to put a turtle aquarium in a room with a baby?
The aquarium contains a red bar turtle ear. I know that young sliders can carry salmonella, but the turtle is a couple of years so I'm not so worried about it. In general, however, is sure to have an aquarium a few footboard of a baby? I've never read anywhere that it is not … but I thought I check to see if anyone had any idea … do not want to take any chances with my son!
Play it safe. Not only because of the possibility of salmonella, but also a container of baby + water = not a good idea, especially if only "a few feet of the cradle of a baby."
